Udupi: No arrest yet on Shiroor Swamiji death case, says SP Nimbargi

Udupi, Jul 24: Superintendent of police (SP) Laxman Nimbargi has said that no arrests have been made relating to the death of Shiroor Math Swamiji.

Earlier it was reported that a woman, a close associate of late Swamiji, and three others were arrested in Aladangady.

SP dismissed the news as fake one.

IGP visits Udupi

Inspector general of police (western zone) Arun Chakravarthy who visited the city today also clarified that no arrests have been made in the Shiroor Swamiji death case. 

 

“Investigations regarding the case are in progress. The details of the case will be made known after receiving postmortem and laboratory reports. I have come to see the state of investigations,” he said.
