Bengaluru: Mohammed Nalapad publicly apologises, says ‘jail has taught lessons on hardships of life’

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Jul 25: Mohammed Nalapad, son of Congress MLA NA Haris has publicly apologised for his attack on a youth and said that he would never hurt anyone.

Addressing a gathering in his father’s Assembly constituency, Shanthinagara, Nalapad turned emotional and said, "Before going to jail, I did not know anything about the problems of common people and the poor. I did not know about water scarcity. My life was luxurious without any worries. I faced water shortages in jail. It helped me to understand the life of ordinary people. If anyone understands the water shortage better today, it is me. I will try my best to help you people in getting better civic amenities."

He said that the days that he spent in jail had taught him some lessons about the hardships of life. Apologising to his grandfather and father publicly, Nalapad said, "My grandfather suffered a lot because of me. I caused him so much pain. I will never hurt him again." Seeing him both Haris and his father too turned emotional.

It may be recalled that the 24-year-old Nalapad was sent to jail after he allegedly attacked a youth Vidhwath at a high end pub over a frivolous issue in Bengaluru. The suffered multiple fractures and is still undergoing treatment.

The incident made into national headlines and he was denied bail multiple times. He was granted bail after he spent four months in jail. After the release, Nalapad has been keeping a low profile.

The incident however proved the critics wrong and did not affect his father. Haris won from Shanthinagara constituency comfortably in the assembly polls.

The challenge for non-BJP parties is to support only good elements among minorities....if rogue elements from minorities are propped up by Congress/any other non-BJP parties, it will help blind Hindutva campaign by BJP.

His reply is a lesson to parents who spend lavishly on children without realizing what they will turn tobe. Its important to make them understand the hardships of life to enable them to be better citizens. Otherwise they have to land up in jail like Nalapad to understand what life stands for aam aadmi.

You are not worthy to visit the constituency.
Better stay some more months in jail and you will learn many more lessons.
You need to keRn still more lessons,
Fist go to The victim and apologise him in person and kiss his legs as you had demanded it.
Ask him to give the same treatment if not less, that you had given him.
Being a youngster you have shown the youngster a bad lesson.
All who had supported you Aldo should be made to learn the same lessons, ofcorde in jail.

If he has reformed, kudos to our criminal justice system which has successfully reformed a hardcore criminal. But he is the son of politician who was adamant to the core and has subtle and mean character to survive in politics with chameleon adaptations. It seems he is apologizing just because his father may have to pay the entire cost. He is also aware that if his father lose political position he will be treated worst than a beggar in Shanthinagar. Mr. Mohammed by the way he manhandled Vidhwath is a hard core criminal and his apology should be accepted with great caution....!

there is no use and it looks all nautanki and dombarata.
You can't connect his behaviour and election win for his father as notorious criminals r getting elected in Bihar/UP from a long time from RJD /SP/BSP parties

Nalapad... your apologies are due to Vidwanath. As an individual turned into a gentleman, retrace your steps and go the person you hurt and see to it that all the medical expenses are met from your funds. I am sure the people who have gone through the details of this episode will then be with you and praize you

Good luck young man. All make mistakes but few have the courage to admit that they have wronged someone.
