Bantwal, Aug 2: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) police of Mangaluru raided the KSRTC depot at B C Road, Kaikamba on Thursday, August 2.
This raid was conducted on the basis of a complaint received by one of the staff working for KSRTC.
It is learnt that Farooq Khan K, KSRTC staff attached to Mysuru division had complained to the ACB police about the misappropriation of funds and rampant corruption that is going on in KSRTC depots.
The ACB police conducted raids on Mangaluru depot on Wednesday, August 1 and Bantwal depot on Thursday, August 2. They conducted an inquiry of drivers and conductors and investigated the cash section and records relating to the corruption accusation.
The raid is still on at the Bantwal depot.
These raids were conducted as per the directions of ADGP (ACB), under the leadership of SP Shruthi and other senior police officers.
