Udupi: Baseless allegations against Pejawar Swamiji - police complaint filed

Udupi, Aug 4: Fans and followers of Pejawar Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji here are angry at baseless allegations and false reports published by a tabloid against the Swamiji.

On behalf of Pejawar Swamiji Fans Association, a complaint was submitted to the police personnel of town station here on Friday August 3, expressing the apprehension that publication of unwarranted and unfounded reports about the Swamiji might give rise to unrest. Therefore, the association has sought legal action against the editor of the said tabloid.

A delegation comprising Ansar Ahmed, Arif, Sudheer Poojary, Sheikh Irshad, Prasad Shetty, Shahid Rehamathulla, Harshad, Gururaj Ameen, Munna and Glisten D'Souza, handed over the complaint to the police station.
