Bengaluru: Two realtors who went missing found killed, buried

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 5: Two realtors from the city, who went missing on the same day about a month back, have been found killed. Another real estate businessman who got angry at demanding Rs 60 lac lent to him back, reportedly got them killed with the help of contract killers, and buried their bodies in a pit dug by using a backhoe near Harohalli, Kanakapura.

Those who were killed in this case were Prasad Babu (45) from Rajarajeshwari Nagar, and Balaji (43) from Girinagar here. Tejas (40), a real estate businessman from J P Nagar, has been named as the main accused, while his associates, Mani (32) and Anil (30) who reportedly helped in this murder, stand arrested. Three more who too were allegedly involved with this murder are absconding.

Tejas used to have financial transactions with Prasad Babu and Balaji. He had borrowed a sum of Rs 60 lac from them. But he had failed to repay the amount on due date. Both Prasad and Balaji used to pressurize him to repay their money. Angered by this, Tejas decided to kill both of them, and contracted three persons who are now absconding for executing his plan, the police stated.

As per plan, Tejas had called both of the realtors on June 27, asking them to reach his office at J P Nagar and collect their money. Both of them reached his office. The contract killers abducted them in a car and confined them in a godown at Avalahalli here. They tied up both with ropes to a chair and attacked them. When they shouted, they gagged and killed them by smothering them. Their bodies were loaded in a car and taken to a farm house belonging to Tejas at Harohalli. Both the bodies were kept in a room and Tejas was informed thereafter.

On the same evening, Tejas, with the help of his accomplices, brought a backhoe owned by a known person from Yalachenahalli to his farm house. He dug a pit in a desolate area in his farm, and buried both the bodies, the police informed. The police are now collecting details of the three persons who have escaped after murdering the duo.

The wife of Prasad Babu had filed missing complaint about her husband in Rajarajeshwari Nagar police station, while Balaji's missing complaint was filed in Girinagar station. Both had gone missing the same day. The police found the motor bike of Prasad Babu parked near the office of Tejas. When questioned, Tejas acted innocent and said he did not know anything about them. When checking video footage of the area, the police found two persons moving about suspiciously. On checking cellphone details of Prasad and Balaji, they found that both the phones were active for the last time near the office of Tejas. The police also came to know that Tejas, who was well-known to the deceased, had not repaid the loan. They arrested Tejas and his two accomplices, and during their questioning got to know about their misdeeds.

Correct, lending money should be left to banks only. Govt should take steps to irridicate money lenders as its a big source of black money rotation.

Dear Rathan, the empty burthan (vessel),

First google the meaning of "lynching", if you don't know what it means.

If everything is termed as lynching, might as well change name of Hindustan to lynchistan, because there is so many murders happening in BJP ruled states against minorities, dalits, gang rapes and murder of minor girls, and wife killing by dowry obsessed husbands.
