Doha: MCC Qatar Ladies Open Throwball Tournament from Oct 16

Doha, Oct 14: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar  is proud to announce its 7th Annual MCC  Ladies Open Throwball Tournament, to be held on 2 consecutive weekends of 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th October 2008,  at the Indian Club grounds, Al Wakhra road,  Doha.

7 teams, namely, Tulu Koota, Konkan Stars, India Club, Lanka Lions, Qatar Tamizhar Sangam, Al Khor United and the host team will be vying for the prestigious MCC Trophy. Matches on Thursdays will be played 6.00 p.m onwards and on Fridays from 4.30 p.m.

In the past the Throwball Tournament has not just provided an avenue for ladies to exhibit their sporting skills, it has also been an opportunity for the spectators to join in the fun and spirit of the game. MCC invites all sports lovers in Qatar to attend this tournament in large numbers and cheer  the teams.
