Kuwait: Countdown Begins for Gulf Voice Of Mangalore Grand Finale

Kuwait Oct 14: The final count down for Kuwait semifinals and Gulf grand finale started with the arrival of the ten-member Judge- Musician’s group. The visiting Konkani singing artistes comprise Judges- Wilfy Rebimbus, Melwin Peris, Joel pereira, Musicians- Joswin, Richard, Christopher, Theo, Melwyn and the famous compere Leslie Rego along with Meena Rebimbus were warmly welcomed by organizers of event Lawrence Pinto, Louis Rodrigues along with Rita Rodrigues and Wilson Saldanha. Popular Comedian Jerry Rasquinha is already in Kuwait to tickle the ribs for grand finale.
The “Youth Recreation Club” of Kuwait is organizing the ‘GULF VOICE OF MANGALORE’ a “Reality” Konkani Singing Competition for the first time in all GCC countries. With the semifinal results of Oman, UAE, Bahrain and Qatar, all the eyes are targeted on Kuwait finalists. On Wednesday 15th October 2008 night the final list of 10 finalists will be released after the Kuwait finalists who will compete for grand finale which will be held on 17th October 2008 in Kuwait. A huge number of supporters from Oman, UAE, Bahrain and Qatar are expected to cheer their favourites.
