Mangaluru, Aug 28: As a special message on ‘World Peace Day’, Fr Nelson Dalmeida, director, Sandesha Foundation, is all set to screen his fourth non-commercial value-based short film ‘My Peace My Choice’ on September 20.
The short film will be released at 8.45 am at St Aloysius Gonzaga School. The film is directed, scripted and produced by Fr Nelson D’Almeida.
Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangaluru, will release the film. Fr Dionysius Vas, rector, St Aloysius college, Fr Melwyn Mendonca, manager, St Aloysius Gonzaga school, Grace Noronha, principal, St Aloysius Gonzaga School are the chief guests.
The special feature of the film is that Hindu, Muslim and Christian family members have acted in this film. The purpose of the film is to promote peace and harmony in the society.
The message of the film is “Every religion is an abode of peace and harmony”. The primary motive of the film is to show that religion is not a hurdle for fellowship rather it is a cradle of peace and harmony.
Family members belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Christian religion live in peace and harmony in this film. They share, help and celebrate festivals with no friction. They live as friendly neighbours.
Ishaan P Shetty, Mohmmed Zeeshan and Ethen Pinto who belong to three different religions are playing the lead roles. They are the students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School. Interesting part of the film is their parents and teachers also have acted in the film. The film is not far from the reality of a peaceful society.
Fr Nelson‘s three other non-commercial value- based previously released short films are ‘My Country My Life’, ‘My Teacher My School’ and ‘My Dad My Mom.’
