Mumbai's Melody King Anthony Tauro to Present Music Nites in Mangalore
Mangalore, Oct 22: Mumbai's ace Konkani singer Anthony Tauro perhaps does not need any introduction. After his 4 consecutive musical nites in Mumbai, where he has been residing for years now, he has carved a niche for himself in the hearts of Konkani music buffs. His scintillating performances which were well-complemented by his wife Suchita and other members of the troupe have given him much needed impetus and fame. Having conquered Konkani music buffs in Mumbai over the years, he is now all set to dish-out a delicious musical delicacy to the Mangaloreans living in the coastal belt.
Anthony Tauro in association with Konkan Kalakar, Mumbai will stage 4 musical nites at Gangolli, Ajekar, Kirem and Mangalore in the last week of October 2008. The proceeds of the show will be utilized for the education of poor students by Konkani Kalakar.
Anthony Tauro's first show in undivided Dakshina Kannada will be held in Don Bosco Hall at Mangalore on Sunday October 26 evening at 5.30 pm
Anthony's wife Suchita Tauro, Mangalore's top singers such as Rony Crasta, Anita Samson, Prakash Mahadevan along with Mumbai stars Blany D'Costa, Carren Tauro, Diya D'Cunha will enthrall the Konkani music lovers with some of the finest compositions of Anthony Tauro. Up-and-coming musician Benjamin Miranda will mesmerize the audience with delightful background music.
