Dubai, Oct 23:  Konkan Community of St. Mary’s Church Dubai,  honoured their parishioner Donald Correa who won First Runner-up place in the recently concluded prestigious Konkani Talent Search Music event ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore’ on 17th October at Kuwait.

 


A brief memento presentation ceremony  was organized at St. Mary’s Church to felicitate Donald Correa, before the conclusion of monthly Thursday evening Konkani mass.  Fr. Freddy D’Souza,  Asst. Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Church and  Spiritual Director of esteemed church affiliated organization St. Mary’s Konkan Community [SMKC] congratulated Donald Correa for making the Konkan Community of Dubai proud, by achieving success in this great music contest and wished him success in all his future assignments. Norbert Sequeira,  SMKC Core member gave an concise account of the Gulf Voice Contest and highlighted Donald’s achievements in this event. Boniface Carlo,  Main Coordinator of SMKC presented Dony a flower bouquet as a token of a admiration.  Fr. Freddy endowed a memento to Donald Correa, as a gesture of appreciation.  

Donald Correa,  who is fondly called ‘Dony’ by all,  is a familiar face in the entertainment world.  He is a native of Pernal Parish in Mangalore Diocese, multi-talented young artiste proficient in acting, singing and compering.  Dony, an enthusiastic and humble personality has hosted numerous shows and won several singing competitions in the UAE. Dony along with his talented wife Asha and daughter Deona, make a perfect family.  

Fr. Freddy D’Souza and all Parishioners of St. Mary’s Church Dubai are delighted to applaud Dony Correa for his great accomplishment and wish him success in all his future endeavors.
