Mangaluru: Milagres College Hampankatta conducts staff enrichment programme

Mangaluru, Sep 12: A staff enrichment programme was recently organized by commerce department for the degree college staff at the college auditorium.

Nikhil Martis, lecturer from Degree College welcomed the dignitaries.

Dr Prasanth, Professor from Canara First Grade College was the main invitee. The other dignitaries on the dais were Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, Milagres College Prof Lourdusamy, academic advisor, Milagres Educational Institution, Eva Manorama, HOD of Commerce department, Milagres College. Cassin Rodrigues vice principal of Milagres College welcomed the invitees with floral bouquets.



Dr Prasanth, professor from Canara First Grade College took over the section. He educated the staff on investing in mutual funds and said that mutual funds have their advantages and disadvantages compared to direct investing in individual securities. The primary advantages of mutual funds are that they provide economies of scale, a higher level of diversification, they provide liquidity and they are managed by professional investors.

Wilma, lecturer of Milagres College delivered the vote of thanks.
