Mangaluru, Sep 13: Train services between Mangaluru and Bengaluru will be suspended till September 20 as landslides on railway tracks between Subrahmanya road and Sakleshpur on Mangaluru-Hassan ghat section is in progress.
Mysuru Division railway authorities in a press release stated that debris and boulders on tracks are cleared in 67 locations on 56 kilometre long stretch between Subrahmanya Ghat section and Sakleshpur. Earth excavating machines and railway staff are working without break at one location.
Therefore, trains listed below are either cancelled or partly cancelled.
Train No. 16517/1523 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express whose journey was to commence on September 16, 17 is cancelled.
Train No. 16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express journey on September 15 and 19 is cancelled.
Train No. 16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey on September 16, 17 and 18 is cancelled.
Train No. 16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey on September 20 cancelled.
Train No. 16575 Yesvantpur to Mangaluru Jn Express journey on September 16, 18 and 20 journey is partially cancelled between Hassan to Mangaluru junction.
Train No. 16515 Yesvantpur to Karwar express journey on September 17 and 19 is partially cancelled between Hassan and Karwar.
Train No. 16576 Mangaluru junction to Yesvantpur express journey on Sep 17 and 19 cancelled between Mangaluru jn to Hassan.
Train No. 16516 Karwar to Yesvantpur journey on Sep 18 and 20 is cancelled between Karwar and Hassan.
