Bengaluru, Sep 14: Minister, D K Shivakumar, who has of late lost some of his importance after having been accused by Jarkiholi brothers of interfering with politics and transfers in Belagavi district, is preparing to hit back, sources say. He has been urging the party leaders to issue a curt message to Jarkiholi family by way of warning.
Shivakumar, it is said, has come to the conclusion that people perceived close to him have been stabbing him in the back. Therefore, he wants Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee to at least serve notice on them. Reportedly he also discussed this issue with the in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka.
He is said to have told his confidantes that he had also contributed towards making Jarkiholi brothers powerful in Belagavi. He feels that Jarkiholi brothers now have been acting as per the advice of bigger leaders and have been acting against his interests by complaining about him. Frustrated at loss of face he faced because of Jarkiholi brothers, he also is said to have challenged to build an alternative leadership in that district and thereby show his might.
