Kuwait, Nov 1: Buntara Sangha Kuwait under the president ship of Divin Menda organized ‘Karnataka Maithri family picnic 200’8 on Friday 31st October 2008 from 10:30am onwards at Mishref Garden.  The event was featured with many games, sports and cultural activities and was open for all Kannadigas.











































With the temperature going down and pleasant weather after a hot summer, it was a day for the participants of the picnic to take the pleasure in the various sporting activities. The program was well arranged with fluent and professional announcements and control from Tharendra Shettigar, Manoj Shetty and other volunteers of Buntara Sangha.

The day was fully entertaining and sportive with many games for all the age categories and enjoyed well by every one. Traditional games like Coconut breaking, Breaking the pot, Govinda,Volley Ball for men and Throw ball for women, Kabaddi, Tonka etc were also a part of the picnic. Various types of other games such as Bucket ball, Ball to stump, running race and Short put were segregated as per the age groups.  A delicious cuisine served for lunch.
