Fujairah: Canara Catholics Elect Roy Veigas as President
Media Release Fujairah, Nov 4: Canara Catholics Fujairah, the association of the Mangalorean Christians residing in and around Fujairah held their general body meeting recently. Roy Veigas, a dynamic young leader was elected as the new President for the year 2008-2009. Roy, a native of Milagres, Mangalore has been rendering his selfless service to C.C.F since its inception.

Antony D’Silva and Ludy Rebello were elected as the Chief Co-ordinator and Treasurer respectively. Members of C.C.F with their friends and relatives enjoyed a family day out at the Al Madabh Park in Fujairah on Friday the 31st of October.
The event was filled with fun, music, dance, games and delicious food. After thanking the good Lord, the mass participated in every event with lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
Antony D’Silva ably organized the events. The highlight of the days programme was a ‘Lagori’ game and the Tug of War.
The new president Roy Veigas thanked each and every one for their co-operation.
