Tumakuru, Oct 9: The death of late IAS officer, D K Ravi, who was known for his sincerity and able administration, has not given conclusive solutions to the many questions that surrounded his mysterious demise. Even now the discussion of whether his death was a suicide or a murder has not dampened. In the midst of this, a new rumour is making rounds in Doddakoppal village in the district, which is the native place of D K Ravi, that his spirit is wandering in the village and haunting his close friends and villagers.
In the Hindu religion, it is believed that the dead people visit their near and dear ones during the 'Mahalaya Amavasya'. The villagers of Doddakoppal are saying that D K Ravi is back in the form of a spirit. Four to five villagers are saying that D K Ravi appears in their dreams and says "Injustice is meted out to me. Please see that I get justice".

Most of the people who are getting these dreams are the close friends of Ravi. They say that he often appears suddenly in front of them and cries incessantly. When these villagers go to paddy fields and farms in the night, they feel that someone is following them. They are assuming that it is the spirit of D K Ravi.
Shivalingaiah, a childhood friend of D K Ravi says, "Ravi appears in my dreams and says that injustice is meted out to him and please see that he gets justice. Now since a few days before the Mahalaya Amavasya the frequency of his appearance in my dreams has increased. He was my classmate and was very close to me. H D Kumaraswamy, who fought for D K Ravi, during his death is the chief minister of the state now. If justice was not served to D K Ravi, then at least now that needs to be set right. By this, we should see that his soul gets salvation."
"Ravi is appearing in my dreams every alternate day since a week and says "I have worked relentlessly for the government. However, they did not provide justice to me. I could not do any betterment in my village. Please provide me justice." When I open my eyes, no one is there. I think D K Ravi is appearing as a spirit as the Mahalaya Amavasya is close by and is appealing for justice," says his relative Govindaiah.
Surprisingly, mother of D K Ravi says that he does not appear in her dreams. With tearful eyes, she curses and says that if the rumours doing rounds in the village are true, then let the life of the people who spoilt our life, be spoilt also.
