Moodbidri, Oct 23: Fire brigade personnel found the severed head of decomposed body of Koragara colony, Sacharipete resident Taniya (70) from deep waters of Shambhavi river on Monday, October 22. The other portion of the decomposed body was found in the bushes on the banks of Shambhavi River on Sunday.
Taniya was missing since the last ten days. Police conducted detailed search with the help of Moodbidri fire brigade and found the severed head under the trash collected deep in the river a little away from the spot where the body was found.
Police have suspected that he might have slipped when he went to answer the nature’s call. Moodbidri police visited the spot and conducted investigation.
