Mangaluru Oct 25: Former Minister B Janardhana Poojary offered pooja for Dhwaja Stambha (Kodi Mara) at Kudroli Shri Gokarnanatheshwara temple here on Thursday, October 25.

Speaking on the occasion B Janardhana Poojary said, "Yesterday night when I was in deep sleep, I had a dream in which someone kept on hitting me and saying about Kodi Mara. It was God Shiva who repeatedly said about the Kodi Mara and asked why it was kept in the backyard of the Shree Gokarnanatheswara temple without installing.

"So this Kodi mara will be installed on March 4, 2019 during the Shivarathri, as the Shivarathri will commence from Febrauary 27, 2019. We are installing this because there should be some changes and the devotees should like this process. This Kodi Mara was brought from Padumale."

Special pooja was offered to the Kodi Mara by B Janardhana Poojary, who was in tears when the pooja was being performed.
