Heartiest Congratulations to Mr Ravi Shetty on being chosen for the prestigious Mother Teresa Social Harmony Award. A great personality of Qatar, affectionately called Ravi anna by everyone his 'helping hand' is well known and documented. I had the pleasure of knowing him for just few years that too meeting on rare occasions, but he always had a big smile and genuine concern, inquiring about my well being. He took the initiative, on behalf of Bunts Qatar to honour me as an Artist, when I was leaving Qatar for good, that memory I will cherish for life. May God and St. Mother Theresa, bless you dear Ravi anna and bless your adorable family too.

One of the very divine nature of humble Mother Therese was making herself available to everyone through her welcome and defense of human life beyond any race, caste and creed especially to those who are helpless and poorest of the poor. These very characters of Mother Therese are well reflected in the life of humble ‘Rave Anna’s life extending his helping hand to everyone thus contributing much towards social harmony and peace in the society. Thanks to MCC, its found members Sri Jerry D’ Mello, President Mr. Sunil D’ Silva for setting an right example by honoring the right candidate while implying and associating with the name of Mother Therese.

Before 2 years when my brother priest visited Qatar, Mr. Ravi Shetty was the first to invite him to this home. The first heart touching inviting gesture was when his children seeking blessings of my brother priest by bowing down and touching his feet. This touched my heart. When such gestures are very rarely prevalent here, when I queried about this to Ravi Anna he said “Without Blessing of God and without Blessings of the Elders nothing can possible and this is what we teach to our children and this is what we practice; one should emulate. This is one of the very reason perhaps he is being loved by every community members, successful business man, Director of a very well know reputed company employing over 200 employees most of them among are Christians !.

Mr. Ravi is a godly inspired human being, a socio-fabric community building leader on whom many benevolent awards has been bestowed upon him; well deserves much. God Bless you our dear Ravi Anna.
