Fly Bus to Kundapur fro KIA, Bengaluru is very different from BMTC Airport bus to Majestic & other places. The former is multi-axle luxury coach with toilet facility. The fare is same as any other KSRTC Airavat multi-axle long distance buses.
Now the travel time from KIA to Udupi has been reduced drastically. The bus leaves Majestic at around 11:00PM & reaches Udupi at 6AM that too via Mysore. With the new road at Shiradi Ghat, the travel ndistance would reduce by an hour.

In 2 / 3 years there will another need for expansion. As it is there is no room at the present location as well as the approach to the airport is so tedious. Therefore it would be a good idea to build a bigger and beautiful airport at a different location with a capacity to handle the traffic for 25+ years. As planned years before to build a airport at Padubidri/Hejmady would be very feasible as there is abundant open space/area (for future expansion as well) and also conveinent for people of every direction.

Convert the present airport for cargo facility.

MIA airport should display price for porter service. Currently its like day robbery or bargaining for fish. With smiling face they loot passengers. Why there is no control, just because daily they pay fix amount to airport officials?
