Bengaluru: Attack on Duniya Vijay's second wife - police search for first wife

Bengaluru, Oct 29: The fight within the family of actor Duniya Vijay has acquired another twist with a video showing the actor's first wife, Nagaratna, attacking his second wife, Keerti Gowda, with footwear becoming viral in social sites. The police are now searching for Nagaratna as they plan to arrest her.

Keerti has now approached Girinagara police station seeking to act against Nagaratna by including offenses under additional sections of Indian Penal Code to the complaint she had earlier registered with them. On Sunday, the police had summoned Monica and Monisha, daughters of Nagaratna, to the police station. They were let to go after questioning them for about 90 minutes and recording their statements.

In the meanwhile, as soon as the video went viral and case was registered against her, Nagaratna and her brother have gone missing, and a search operation has been launched, police said.

Actor Vijay, who went to Girinagara police station with his family on Sunday, asked the police not to involve his two daughters in the case and to let them go after they record their statements.
