Hubballi, Nov 2: “Prime minister Narendra Modi does not have as much concern of Ram Mandir as he has about Muslim women,” said Congress leader, MLC C M Ibrahim.

Speaking in a news conference in the city, he said that BJP does not want to solve the problem of Ram Mandir. “People in the country will give suitable answer for it in 2019 Lok sabha elections. JDS and Congress coalition will win all the five seats in the current bye elections.

“We do not object to construction of Ram Mandir. We will win in 28 constituencies in the upcoming Lok sabha elections and create our own wave. I do not oppose BJP because they are communal, but BJP has spoiled the economic policies in the country during their four and a half year rule. They have conducted most evil rule in seventy years of history.

“Modi is worried about Muslim women but has no concern about Ram Mandir. BJP does not want construction of Ram Mandir. BJP is indulging in politics to keep Ram Mandir problem alive.

“BJP does not have the willpower to solve Ayodhya controversy. BJP was campaigning for votes in the past putting forward Idga maidan controversy in Hubballi. It is asking for votes keeping Ayodhya dispute now. Politics has reached very low level now. BJP is saying Hindu Hindu.

"Construction of shrine or mosque is not religion. Religion means providing meals to hungy and shelter to destitutes.

“BJP leaders are speaking about protection of cattle. What do they do in Goa after performing Go puja in Uttar Pradesh? Export of beef has increased after Modi came to power. There are several companies in the name of BJP leaders in beef industry,” he alleged.
