Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Nov 3: Yukti K N (17), resident of Kalpada Pulithadi in Kodiyala village in the taluk jumped into a pond and committed suicide on Friday November 2. She was a second PU student of the government PU college at Kaniyoor.

Yukti was not up to the mark in her studies, it is gathered. People feel that she would have been overwhelmed by the fact that her family members would come to know about her poor grades. There is also suspicion that the death of her father sometime back might have been playing on her mind and having been frustrated with life, she would have decided to end it.

On the basis of a report filed by Yukti's brother, Mohan Kumar, a case was registered and investigation has been taken up.

So sad.It looks like something is behind her frustration or jumping into pond.Deeper than her marks and Fathers death.Of course fathers death can give a shock, but not to jump into the pond.so ask brother more about it.may be he hit her or humiliated her?very serious matter it is.do post martum and find real reason.some students take drugs too nowadays when they cant coupe with studies. That too makes one out of mind and may lead to suecide.may her soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathys to the family ,may God give them courage to bear the pain.and loss.
