Chikkamagalur: CM H D Kumaraswamy is 'Paper Tiger' ridicules MLA C T Ravi

Chikkamagalur, Nov 4: "Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy is a 'Paper Tiger' when it comes to waiving of farmer loans in nationalized banks," ridiculed MLA C T Ravi.

Ravi was speaking to the media in the city. Continuing his barrage against the CM, he further said, "An order should be sent through the chief secretary of the state with regards to the waiver of loans. The government should inform the banks that the government itself is responsible for the loans of farmers. Only then we can prevent the banks from issuing a default notice to farmers. It is not enough for the government to give only a statement with regards to the loan waiver of farmers. It should be implemented practically. However, with regards to this issue, the CM has become a 'Paper Tiger'."

Ravi fumed against the government on the preparations for the celebration of Tipu Jayanti and said, "Is Tipu the grandfather or great grandfather of these people? What is the need of celebrating Tipu Jayanti? We oppose this. The coalition government is going to commit the same mistake that the Congress government did. The government will be responsible for any untoward incident that occurs in the state. People will teach a proper lesson in future for this move of the coalition government."

"Tipu was against the Kannada language and people. He had changed the administrative language to Persian. Tipu is infamous for changing the names of several districts of this state. The celebration of Jayanti of people who have attacked the land is not correct. It will not be surprising that in future, for the sake of some votes, a celebration of Babar and Bin Laden is done by the government. For the harmonious relation, let them celebrate the Jayanti of Sharif," advised Ravi.
