M'luru: Srinivas Dental College celebrates Children's day at Govt Higher Primary School Baikampady


Mangaluru, Nov 24: Srinivas Dental College celebrates Children's Day at Govt Higher Primary School, Baikampady on November 23.

To celebrate the occasion of Children's Day, a programme was organised by Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences on November 23 at Government Higher Primary School, Baikampady.

The programme began with a skit on oral hygiene maintenance and dental trauma awareness by the interns. The skit was concluded by an oral health talk by D Natasha, senior lecturer, department of Pedodontics in taking care of ones health and its implications.



Games were conducted for each class student by the student council members of the dental college and prizes were distributed. Pamphlets pertaining to all the dental treatment facilities available were distributed. Toothpastes were distributed to the anganvadi kids. All the kids enjoyed the programme as well as the teachers of the school who expressed their appreciation. Dr Hemanth, reader, department of Oral Pathology and Dr Sheehan, senior lecturer, department of Periodontics played an important part in the awareness of oral health of the kids and helped in making the programme successful.
