Moodbidri, Nov 30: The graduation ceremony for the eighth batch of Engineering graduates and ninth batch of Management post graduates of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE), Moodbidri will be held on November 30 at MITE Campus, Moodbidri.
Dr Harvey G Stenger, president, Binghamton University, State University of New York, USA, will be delivering the graduation address. Dr Harvey Stenger, who is serving as the president of Binghamton University, New York since 2011, was also an interim provost and dean of the School of Engineering, at Buffalo University, State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. A Chemical engineer by training, he earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University in 1979, and his doctorate in the same discipline from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1983.
On the eve of graduation ceremony, in addition to awarding the graduation certificates to the Engineering graduates and the Management post graduates, the toppers in each branch will be felicitated with the gold medals. Rajesh Chouta, president, Rajalaxmi Education Trust will be presiding over the ceremony.
MITE, since entering into a Memorandum of Agreement with the State University of New York, Binghamton University, New York, USA on May 2016, has been conducting many conferences, workshops, and Talkson Latest Technologies by distinguished professors from Binghamton University every year. With this association, MITE looks forward to provide advanced learning to the students at MITE.
