Buntara Sangha Kuwait holds family get-together and sports day

Kuwait, Dec 24: Buntara Sangha Kuwait, organised their family get-together at the Fintas Garden recently.

The programme started with formal inauguration by Sangha President Dr Shekar Shetty breaking a coconut. Children enjoyed variety of games like shoot the wicket, collecting vegetables and others. Coconut passing game was held for men. Exiting throw ball & Tug-of-war was held for women, volley ball and cricket match for men was more sportive. The idea of a get-together was to have a collective togetherness and share the joy and happiness as a family. Delicious lunch was served by Oriental Restaurant.



The programme was well coordinated by sports secretary Prashanth Alva. Sport committee members and volunteers put their efforts in making the get-together to a full day fun filled event. Prizes were distributed to all the winners in various games. The games were well organised by Praveen Kumar Shankat. Managing committee members Chandrashekar Shetty, Vishwanath Shetty, Surendra Shetty Karkala, Satheesh Baja, and Chandrahas Shetty gave their active support to the event. Event photography was efficiently handled by Nithin.
