Puttur: St Philomena College bags eight ranks in Mangalore University examinations

Puttur, Jan 3: St Philomena College has bagged eight ranks in the final list of rank holders announced by Mangalore University, in degree examinations held in the month of April/May 2018.

In BCom, Josvita Lorraine Lobo secured first rank with 95.82 percent and Joshila Marita Menezes secured seventh rank with 93.78 percent. In BSc, Anarghya S secured fifth rank with 96.14 percent, Anusha D’Souza secured sixth rank with 96.12 percent and Shruthi U bagged tenth rank with 95.24 percent of marks. In BCA, Preethi Rao bagged third rank with 94.46 percent. In BSW, Jeevan D’Souza secured first rank with 83.94 percent and Joel Monteiro bagged second rank with 83.5 percent.

    My hearty congrats to eight students who have brought honour to themselves, their families and their Alma mater.

    Of course to a great extent credit goes to the leaders like Correspondent of the college Fr Alfred J Pinto and principal of the college Prof Leo Noronha under the leadership of Dr. Antony Prakash Monteiro. I had the pleasure of meeting Rev. Dr. Monteiro recently in Dubai.
