Kasargod, Jan 4: After the mayhem that occurred in the district in the last two days due to the issue of women entering the temple of Lord Aiyappa at Sabarimala, the district was returning to normalcy. However, the situation again became tensed after a KSRTC bus was stoned at Talapady near here on Friday, January 4.
A gang that arrived in bikes threw the stones at the KSRTC bus and escaped from the spot. The window shield of the bus is completely smashed. Luckily, none of the passengers were hurt.
In the last two days eight KSRTC buses have been stoned due to the unrest that started after two women entered the Sabarimala temple.
Manjeshwar police station personnel have arrived at the spot and are conducting the investigation.
