Mangaluru: Man murdered at Panjimogaru, police suspect locals' involvement

Mangaluru, Jan 4: A young man was killed at Maladi, Panjimogaru in city on the night of Thursday, January 3.

Rakesh (24), a resident of Padukodi, is the deceased person.

As per details available, Rakesh was returning home after his work. He was attacked with machetes by a gang of unknown miscreants.

Police commissioner and DCP visited the spot.

According to police, there is suspicion of locals' involvement.

Kavoor police have registered a case and the investigation is in progress.
