Mild earthquake hits Dibba, Oman, no impact on UAE


Abu Dhabi, Jan 12 (Emirates 247): The A 3.7 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded in North West Dibba, Oman, on Friday at 12:51 (UAE time), according to the National Centre of Meteorology, NCM.

Residents in some areas of Ras Al Khaimah reported feeling tremors but the quake had no effect elsewhere in the UAE, the NCM added.
