Amid political turmoil, 'relaxed' HDK watches trailer of son's movie

Bengaluru, Jan 16 (PTI): It was a different battlefield a 'relaxed' chief minister H D Kumaraswamy watched amid the political crisis in Karnataka ahead of Lok Sabha polls.

Taking time off from the turmoil his government is facing due to two MLAs withdrawing support to the government, Kumaraswamywatched a trailer of the movie 'Kurukshetra', the Kannada period movie based on the Mahabharata, based on the poetic marvel 'Gadayuddha' by poet Ranna.

His son Nikhil Gowda has played the role of Abhimanyu.

The movie has been produced by MLA Muniratna.

Enthralled with the trailer, Kumaraswamy said never before a movie of this scale ever been made inKannada, where every minute detail was taken care of.

The two Independent MLAs, H Nagesh (Independent) and R Shankar (KPJP) Tuesday withdrew support to the seven month old ministry amid turmoil triggered by charges of horse trading flung at each other by the ruling Congress-JDS coalition and the BJP.

If not a 'King' .He will be the ' King maker'. He wept about 5-6 times on how he is treated by Cong.

He has to generate funds for the Cong and under lots of pressure. His new Peon, Siddu too is on his tail end. Who knows he might opt to support BJP. If his party MLAs ditch him and join BJP, HDk will join films as a Hero (sorry dont laugh) or playing Daddy's roles or lets say ' stylish Dads' role. Please dont laugh!

HDK has nothing to loose. Now his father Dodda Gowdru is active and advising him how to go about politics .His wife has won an election and raking in the moolah. His 'good for nothing son' is into films funded by the State. He too will be in politics soon. The worst that may happen is Govt may topple. He may approach BJP and agree to support them for a lump sum or monthly salary so he can relax without any tension.

Right & Smart thing to do. Immediately focus on your other career options. When not in office, HDK was busy producing films.
