Mangaluru: SIHA organises special charity event for 2 orphanages

Mangaluru, Jan 26: Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration (SIHA), 'Nitte Campus' Kodakal successfully organized Siha Kids 2019.

A charity event conducted a day's event for children from two different orphanages in the city to experience a special atmosphere. 90 children participated in the various activities.

The programme was inaugurated by former MLA of Mangaluru south constituency J R Lobo.

Principal Prof Amar Z Cherian welcomed the gathering, student coordinator Sandeep Saldanha rendered the Vote of thanks. Rainha Baretto staff coordinator of the event was also present on the dais. Suzan Quadros and Niketh compered the programme.

On account of world peace day, the members of Lions Club delivered the peace pledge to the gathering.



Later, the organizers of the event conducted various activities/ games for the children.

In the afternoon, the kids were served sumptuous food prepared by the SIHA students.

Following lunch, few activities were conducted.

In the evening the winners of the games were given prizes. All the children who participated were also given gifts.

The efforts of all the sponsors and media team who helped to promote the event are appreciated.
