Kundapur, Jan 26: Leader of the opposition in state legislative council, Kota Srinivas Poojary, has written to Udupi district deputy commissioner, expressing resentment at not inviting MLA, Raghupati Bhat, for the government programme organised at Udupi on Thursday January 24.
He has warned the deputy commissioner that insulting the legislators by not extending invitation to them to government programmes is covered under the legislators breach of privilege rules.
In a release, Poojary said that further course of action would be decided on the basis of response from the deputy commissioner.
