Mangaluru: Padua College of Commerce and Management holds college day

Mangaluru, Jan 28: Padua College of Commerce and Management celebrated the 8th college day on January 25 in the open-air stage. This special day began by distributing of the prizes where many students received prizes for the various competitions won by them.

The programme was graced by Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus in-charge, St Philomena College, Puttur as our chief guest, Dr Shivasharan Shetty, managing director, Namma TV and Stephen Pinto, vice president, Parish Pastoral Council, St Sebastian Church, Bendore, as guests of honour, correspondent Fr Vincent Monteiro presided over the programme.

The inaugural programme started with the prayer song, followed by the welcome dance. The students who have brought laurels to the college were honoured and felicitated for their achievements.



The chief guest Fr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus in-charge, Philomena College Puttur, gave insights on how important it is to be educated. Dr Shivasharan Shetty encouraged the students to grab the opportunities as and when they get one.
