Mangaluru: Youth Red Cross in-house annual special camp held

Mangaluru, Jan 28: Youth Red Cross unit of St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a two-day annual special in-house camp on January 26 and 27 for the members of Youth Red Cross.

The principal of St Agnes College Sr Dr M Jeswina AC inaugurated the camp on January 26 and declared the camp open. Ashwin Kumar, Youth Red Cross Life member and trainer explained the highlights of camp. Santhosh Peter D’Souza , advocate and trainer IRCS, Dakshina Kannada and Prajwal Rao, Youth Red Cross programme officer, St Agnes College were the dignitaries present.

Students of Youth Red Cross Melani welcomed the gathering and Afreen rendered the vote of thanks. Rene Johnson, student secretary Youth Red Cross, compered the programme. Around 40 enthusiastic members of Youth Red Cross participated in the camp. Some of the highlights of the camp include tent pitching, fire safety, first aid etc.
