Udupi: Santoor Brahmakalashabisheka Draws Devotees from Across Twin-districts

Udupi, Jan 15: Brahmakalashabisheka Mahotsav was held at Sri Subramanya temple, Santoor, near here on Tuesday January 13, under the leadership and guidance of Vedamurti Belman Vasudev Tantri.
 
Brahmakalashabisheka was held on the occasion of the inauguration of the  renovated temple and the sanctum sanctorum.  Various Vedic rites and rituals were held as part of Brahmakalashabika Mahotsav including installation and consecration of the temple deity.

 
Temple managing trustee S Jayaram Shetty, temple priests  Ramadas Jois, Gopalakrishna Tantri, Vittal Jois, Brahmakalashabisheka Committee members Vasant Shetty, S Sridar Shetty, Karunakar Shetty, Padmanabha Tantri, Ravindra Prabhu, Shubakar Poojary, Shanta Poojary and Geeta Mukari were present.
 
Thousands of devotees from even  far-flung areas arrived for Brahmakalashabisheka here and to invoke the blessings of the Lord on the holy occasion.
