Mangalore: Pooja Purushottam Bags First Rank in Garment Design

Mangalore, Jan 15: Pooja Purushottam, a student of Karavali College, bagged the first rank in the B Sc garment design examinations conducted by Mangalore University in April 2008. 

Karavali College has so far bagged 12 first ranks of total 19 ranks in B Sc interior design, fashion design, and garment design examinations. 

Pooja is a Mangalorean and the daughter of building contractor B Purushottam.  She is employed in SAT LLC, Dubai, as a fashion designer.

Karavali College established in 1996, is the first recognized designing college affiliated to a university in the country. G R Education Trust was founded by its chairman S Ganesh Rao and it manages Karavali Group of Colleges.
