Mangalore: Physiotherapists’ Association Honour for Dr Ifthikar Ali

Mangalore, Jan 18: Dr Ifthikar Ali, associate professor, Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, has been selected for the ‘Young Achievers Award’ by the Association of Physiotherapists.  

Dr Ali will receive the award in recognition of his contribution to the medical profession, at the valedictory function of ‘Asia-West Pacific-IAP International Conference’ to be held on Sunday January 25. Marylin Moffat, president, World Confederation of Physical Therapy, will honour him.  

He is also working as convener of IAP Mangalore division, president of Karnataka Physiotherapy Teachers’ Association, president of U T Farid Foundation, and secretary, Amritsar All India Sports Physiotherapy Association.  Dr Ali is also active in various organizations.
