WHAT IS THIS TAMASHA GOING ON? The pub in Mangalore was attacked by the Sri Rama Sena on the 23rd. It took the Karnataka police 3 days to arrest Pramod Mutalik in Belgaum & that too not in this connection but for delivering a provocative speech in Davangere which led to tension between 2 communities. He was granted bail immediately but was arrested by the Davangere police only on the following day, again not in connection with the Mangalore pub attack but for distributing inflammatory pamphlets. Again he was granted bail immediately and arrested by the Mangalore police & produced in the Mangalore court on the 29th which has remanded him to only a days judicial custody.

It wont be a surprise if he gets bailed out in no time, as usual! This is our wonderful judiciary! Criminals get bail & the innocent get jail! The most humorous part of the story is that the Madikeri & Chickmagalur police have rushed to Mangalore to arrest him for a case paertaining to the year 2003!

Was Pramod Mutalik absconding since the last 6 years or were these policemen sleeping for the last 6 years?
