Hyderabad, Feb 4: A group of activists of a Dalit outfit on Wednesday climbed the Andhra Pradesh Assembly building and threatened to jump down demanding MRPS activists stand atop the assembly building and shout slogans against the Congress govt in Hyderabad.
However, they were whisked away by alert security personnel.
The activists of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) who managed to climb the assembly building raised slogans against Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy demanding categorisation of SC.
Meanwhile, some activists of MRPS, which launched an agitation in support of the SC categorisation, locked themselves up in a couple of minister's chambers.
They were later taken out by the security guards. The incident occurred after the House was adjourned for the day by Speaker K R Suresh Reddy.
