Mangalore: Harassment of MLA's Daughter - Two Miscreants held

Mangalore, Feb.7: The city police have nabbed two persons in connection with the harassment and assault on Manjeshwar MLA's daughter Shruti.

The arrested have been identified as Raju, a time-keeper from Manjeshwar and Ranjith, owner of a workshop at Talapady. Dakshina Kannada SP Satheesh Kumar meanwhile said that two more persons, that is, Charan alias Sharan and Prakash, both hailing from the city are yet to be arrested. Their role in the incident has been confirmed.

Meanwhile victim Shruthi has filed a complaint in the Pandeshwar police station in this regard. Earlier her father MLA Kunjubbu had informed the Kadri police station in this regard. Now the case has been transferred to Pandeshwar station.

      I really apreciate the comments of Santhosh Mangalore and Ronald, Udipi..... If we go on like this definitely we will back to olden days. Development is not for the people of Rama Sena, because having all the luxuries, they have failed to develop !!! For them best is to create some commotion and get some benifit out of that!!!

      how many more such reports of assaut will we hear this year? ok one was fine but this is the second one my dear friends myself as a youth wouldnot want to have another report of this next week the only thing we can do is tackle this problem with our might of intelligence we live in a democratic country and all citizens have fundamental rights. it is and all of u have read in our textbooks respect all nations culture but what are our elders like promodjee setting us with examples?I respect all religions then whats the problem in girls going with guys everything is not for same cause. If pramod wants this type of life in our country let him get into a jungle and lead his life with wild behaviour I am really sad about this I really condemn this act and call upon each youth to raise a voice to make india a better place to live in.

      Who made this Ramasene? I feel it's the media. Ramasene was nothing before the Pub Incident. Due media's live coverage they have now known all across India. Obviously, they will take the advantage of this situation. These kind of things will keep on happening because they just want the attention. Then what is the solution? Just ignore them. Do not cover any of their Circus, they will vanish by themselves.

Already Kerala MLA is regretting for safety of his daughter. It is high time, a student from St. Aloysius is assaulted. Granfathers grand father has been educated in this institution. All these generationa were cultureless?!. Give us a break you Ramasene and the ruling machinery supporting it!

      We know that this is all a conspiracy to impose ban on Hindu organisations. Congress party Communists Media channels like NDTV,IBN Live, These three sections are trying to create a reason for the ban. Just think how logical it is for some one to pull out people from a bus and beat them up in the name of religion. That too targetting just one lady who is from other state. Congress party feels insecure in the south and hence its playing these dirty games. Now the Enemies are clear.. Congress party headed by a Non-Hindus, Communists who are materialistic along with them few media channels with Christian funds. Don't worry these dramatical acts are going to unify hindus more. You will never be able to tarnish Hinduism this way...many muslim emperors, British generals employed these tactics but failed. Better you learn this before its too late.

      I fully agree with you Mr. Santhosh. Beside that no english language should be there in schools, offices go back to Sanskrit. Shame on those people who spoil the Indian image by giving Rama's name. Try to be a good Hindu first. I wonder why the BJP wants such goonda associations still. Isn’t it the time to ban them? How many more incident Yeddi is looking for? Notices to catholic schools, If they want it for the vote bank, days are not far when people will teach you the lesson Attacks on church, attacks on pub, attacks on hotels where you get beef (even after having license), attacks on the media, we the people have noticed everything. Even the central govt is acting mum. Shame on you Congress you don't have the guts to impose your power. Shame on you Moily, Poojari, Oscar. The place from where you are hailing is burning and people are suffering. You don't deserve to be the leaders.

      It was MLA's daughter, so two arrests but the general public are not safe. How will they get justice and will they be able to protest? If the culprits are bailed out and set free will the crimes stop? Why the administration and the respected citizens of the district do not perceive that this might cause communal disharmony? Just ask how many of you are feeling secure in mangalore today?

      Rama Sene and Bajrang Dal’s ultimate goal is to take India back to its own culture and oppose anything which is western like culture tradition and western goods. So the future of India is something like this. Your day starts with a dip in the river you will not have shower . Then you will have idli sambar or dosa or rice. Bread and other western breakfast are not allowed. You will dress in a dhoti and kurta and go to work by walking, traditional boats or bullock cart. Ladies will go to the river bed again carrying clothes to wash because washing machine is western and these senes does not like western influence. Ladies will be dressed in long skirts and blouse and hair oiled and groomed. Those who are not employed will be found meditating under the abundant bus stops. When you get home in the evening you will go to open markets instead of hyper or supermarkets. You will not have TV or cinemas. But ram sene will make sure you have some entertainment like everyday 3 shows of yashagana organized in the previously known bajpe international airport. All this will be happening when our neighbouring countires will be developing in fast pace and people here will having their own private jets with strong economy. And we will be going back to our old tradition and culture. I want to know what the Ram sene does not like about the west. Is it tradition, culture or religion? If they don’t like one then they should ban anything which is western, whether it is goods, culture or tradition. They should not allow any Hindu or Indian to go abroad or atleast to be true Indian like mentioned above. Ram sene should ask Indian government to reposses the passports of all Ram sene members so that they don’t travel abroad and get influenced by the western culture.
