Belthangady: Blessing of renovated cemetery at Madathyar Church held

Belthangady, Mar 1: Cemetery is holy place for all Christians; it is a place of hope. Keeping these thoughts in mind the cemetery of Madanthyar Church was renovated recently.

Bishop of Mangaluru Dr Peter Paul Saldhanha was present and conducted prayer service and blessed all the graves. Addressing the gathering he requested all the people to maintain the sanctity of this sacred place.

Small prayer hall is built with basic facilities and walls are being built around the cemetery.

Fruit bearing and other beautiful trees are planted around the cemetery along with necessary water facilities.

People those who worked for this project were facilitated by the Bishop.
