Sullia: Ganja peddler held from Bellare

Sullia, Mar 1: A person who was found to be selling ganja at Bellare in the taluk on Thursday February 28 was taken into custody by Bellare police.

The person who was taken into custody was Naufal. He was seen selling ganja at Kavu Cross at Mukkur, Peruvaje village in the taluk. The police found 500 grams of ganja in the possession of the accused.

Based on reliable information, Puttur deputy superintendent of police, Dinakar Shetty along with some other staff, raided the spot and arrested the culprit.

The arrested man is from Chapalla in Savanur village, Puttur taluk. The value of ganja confiscated has been put at Rs 9,000.
