Kasargod, Mar 2: A procession carrying the ashes of late youth Congress activists Kripesh and Sharathlal was taken from Kasargod on Friday, March 1. It will reach Thiruvanantapuram on March 5. The rally taken from Kalyot Periya, the spot where their last rites were held, where it was set in motion by youth Congress national president Keshava Chand Yadav.
The rally under the leadership of youth Congress state president Deen Kuriakose will travel throughout the state. Their ashes will be immersed at Parashurama temple in Thiruvanantapuram on March 5.
KPCC state president K Sudhakaran, district Congress president Hakeem Kunhil, K Pikunja Kannan, MLA V T Balaram, Sajid Mavval, Ravindradas, C R Mahesh, Srinivas and others were present.
