Beltangady: Man from Ujire hangs himself at his home

Beltangady, Mar 3: A person from Ujire near here committed suicide when there was no one at home on Saturday March 2. The victim has been identified as Chandra Naik (60) from Kodibail, Ujire.

Chandra, it is said, was heavily addicted to liquor. When his wife reached home as usual at around 5.30 pm on Saturday after work, she found her husband hanging from the ceiling fan at their residence.

The mortal remains of Chandra were thereafter shifted to the mortuary of the government hospital here for post-mortem.
