Udupi, Mar 3: Udupi Indian Dental Association (IDA) branch organised an interaction programme with IDA national general secretary Dr Ashok Dhoble and ICCDE secretary Dr M C Mohan at Country Inn, Manipal recently.

Dr Dhoble appreciated the activities of IDA Udupi branch members in last three years. In an interaction with association members, he spoke on ‘Swachh Mukh Abhiyan’ and the importance of oral health.

A photo album ‘Memeirs’ of IDA Udupi was released in the programme.

A special lecture was delivered by Prof Dr Krishnaraj on the topic ‘Incorporating Lasers into Dental Practice’ at 2nd continuing Dental Education programme.

Around 76 IDA members participated in the event.

The delegates also visited G M Vidyanikethan Public school and adopted 3000 students of the school under ‘National School Children Health Drive.’ This campaign is organised for creating awareness on oral health.

Dr Manoj Brahmavar, president, IDA Udupi, Dr Sudhir N Rao, Treasurer IDA district branch, Dr Fayaz Kadiyali and others were present.
