Mangaluru, Mar 4: Udupi-Chikkamagluru MP Shobha Karandlaje said, "Congressmen demanding evidence over IAF strikes shows their attitude towards the armed forces and also puts everyone in fear.”

Speaking to media here on Sunday, March 3, Shobha Karandlaje said, "Congress leaders have asked evidence over IAF’s strikes in Balakot. This is done by traitors.

“Congress needs to understand that it is wrong. Leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should sack such people from the party who deliver statements like traitors,” she said.

When asked if Sumalatha would join BJP after former Prime Minister Deve Gowda hinted Nikhil Gowda to be the candidate in Mandya, Shoba Karandlaje said, "Whoever comes to BJP, we will welcome them. Deve Gowda’s statement is their internal matter. If Sumalatha needs support from BJP, we are willing to support her.”
