BHUBANESWAR, Feb 11: The BJP's student front on Tuesday asked hotels in Orissa to refrain from organising Valentine's Day functions on February 14 and  threatened to disrupt the celebrations.

"We are keeping a close watch on hotels and other possible places of Valentine's Day celebration. We have warned the hotel owners in this regard," said Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) state secretary Sanjay Das.

While asking the government to take steps to stop such V-day celebations, he said ABVP was prepared to foil any such functions in the state.
