Bengaluru, Mar 7: “I campaigned for Ambareesh when he contested elections. It is my duty to campaign for Sumalatha,” said film star Darshan. He was speaking to reporters in the success press meet of ‘Yajamana’ Kannada film held at a private hotel in Bengaluru.
While Lok Sabha elections are fast approaching, Mandya constituency has drawn the attention of the state.
“If Sumalatha Ambareesh contests elections in Mandya and calls me for campaigning, I will go. I will also go if any of my friends request me,” he said.
Sumalatha Ambareesh contesting elections from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency as independent candidate has almost become final. Challenging star Darshan has initiated election campaigning in favor of Sumalatha Ambareesh.
